I PERSONALLY know what its like to be in horrible shape and to feel powerless to do anything about it. My doctor first told me that I was obese when I was 7 or 8 years old.

When I went to summer camp at Georgetown University in DC they would sing, "Blubber Thing" when I went up to bat at Wiffle ball. Blubber Thing is like "Wild Thing," but it was about how fat I was and how my heart was going to give out because of it.

As a yo-yo dieter I thought it was all about eat less and exercise more. Boy, was I wrong (you can see where 13+ years of that advice culminated in my “before” pic).


How I Created The Body I’ve Always Wanted in Just 10 Months

My transformation shattered a lot of myths that I had about fitness, fat-loss and the fitness industry.

OLD MYTH NEW TRUTH
“Cardio” (really aerobics) are the key to fat loss. If you need to drop fat, hours and hours of aerobics are a must. NO! Not true, not even a little bit. Aerobic exercise is almost a complete waste of time. In my “before” pic I did 9+ HOURS per week. In the “after” I did NONE – not one solitary second.
A certified personal trainer is a fitness expert who can help you reach your goals.

Sadly, this is NOT true. In my quest for the body I wanted I hired no less than TEN personal trainers with MY OWN MONEY – I wasted THOUSANDS of hard earned dollars. Only ONE helped me get results and he lives in LA. Everyone else was just pumping me for sessions.

Here’s what I’ve learned about personal trainers:

  • Being certified means NOTHING (If don’t believe me, look above at the picture of my certified pet pug. His name is Calhoun J. Pigglesworth III and that is HIS name on the “Expert Level Personal Trainer” certification)
  • Most trainers are incompetent and can only get results by accident
  • Most trainers are unethical and are only trying to pump you for sessions. (When I first started the “top” trainer and my fitness manager always told me to “hold back information from them. You want to keep them coming back for a long time.”)

My philosophy is exactly the opposite – I over deliver and arm you with all the information, strategies and encouragement that you need to transform. Then I sit back and enjoy the referrals because you are so happy with your results.

Light weights will give you “tone” NOPE! Lifting light weights is almost the same as not working out at all. For fat-loss and for tone in Men and Women you need a weight heavy enough to kick your butt.
You must eat less Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the person and how much they are eating to start with. But, for my transformation I ate more food. (from 2,200kcal.day to 2,600, all the way up to 3,500 for maintenance.)

Not a chance in hell. To this day I still pay a LOT of money for nutrition and exercise coaching.

    What is semi-private training?

    Its how you can get great results for a great value. I can supervise two people at the same time and charge each one less. You both get as much attention as you need, great results and have more fun at a lower price.
